Generic training provides a good base knowledge, it will increase your staff knowledge and will provide you with an audit trail and can satisfy your requirements to train your staff.
As we predominantly supply on-site training, the course will automatically tailored to your work sector and staff become more relevant as we will tailor it to your work sector whether it a hotel, school, offices, factory etc.
Case Study
Tutis Fire Training had been approached by Kellogg’s in 2010 with a view to supplying a bespoke (building specific) fire training package. For years Kellogg’s had paid for off-site training and the staff had said that the training was enjoyable but they could not relate it to their own premises.
When we visited it was apparent why they could not relate it back some of the building itself was an unusual layout, incorporating a central atrium, two stage alarm systems, ‘Wet’ and ‘Dry’ pipe sprinklers, vatious other fire installations VESDA and Ansul, the Building Manager had devised a specifc strategy for evacuation which involved the use of zone cards to delegate areas of responsibility. Clearly in this setting generic training was not going to fit the bill
The package was developed and in early 2011 we delivered it for them On-Site
The benefits were
· It was less than half the premium rate they had paid over previous years
· It was site specific
· There were no subsidence costs
· No travelling costs
· All attendees were back at their workstations in the afternoon
Kellogg’s did not want just a tick-box exercise; they actually wanted to get it ‘right’.
In another example VitaFoam in Middleton wanted us to include input on their very specific procedures for dealing with foam production and the inherent hazards, including the use of water lances for prompt control
We can incorporate simple photographs of your site and locations of specific hazards and dovetail this into our normal Fire Training.

Our trainer will go through the package with you prior for approval
You may be surprised at how affordable bespoke training is, our trainers have a real depth of knowledge which they can draw upon and apply, a few pictures of your site and a some moulding maybe all that is required.
