Employee fire training is a legal requirement in the UK under the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005. All businesses must ensure that they have given suitable and sufficient training to staff in order to comply with the order.
There will be minimum disruption to your organisation as we attend at your site, with staff only away from their work stations for a few hours.
There are no incurred travelling/subsistence costs normally associated with off-site training.
All our courses include practical ‘hands on’ extinguisher training* using our fully insured gas-fired safe fire trays which will ensure that no damage is incurred to your property and that the practical sessions are more environmentally friendly.
We supply all materials and equipment to set up both for the theory and practical training, all you need supply is a room with seating for your staff and a plug socket.
All our courses are evaluated and we respond to feedback to ensure that we are constantly improving our courses.
We keep up to date with the latest developments and news ensuring our courses are current and interesting.
We can tailor courses to your business sector be it hotels, offices, medical establishments, schools etc.

All our instructors are fully qualified and have Fire & Rescue Service backgrounds, which include experience gained in both Operational and Fire Safety roles. They are professional and have a huge depth of knowledge within the fire sector.
Failure to fulfil your obligations under the RRO could invalidate your fire insurance.
The introduction of the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 has put new impetus on those responsible for compliance to get it right. There is no defence under due diligence if you have not adequately trained your staff.
With the annual cost of fire in the UK in access of £7billion together with huge disruption to business, why put your business at risk by not training your staff? They will have the confidence to tackle a fire in its early stages minimising the risk of disruption and potential prosecution. A recent study estimated that up to 90% of fires in Factories are extinguished by employees without the Fire & Rescue Service attending.
The cost of fire can be higher than this. Approximately 500 people die and 11,000 are seriously injured in the UK each year from fires with most small businesses never recovering from even a small blaze.
Fatalities in fire are often as a result of the unpredictable nature of human behaviour, our courses explain why and how to manage this issue.
Recent statistics released for the UK tell us in one year there were
- 156,800 primary fires (one every three minutes) (primary meaning those that involve damage to insurable property)
- 55,000 dwelling fires
- 261,200 secondary fires
- 435,700 false alarms
All Fire Warden/Marshal Courses include a full information pack that underpins the training, so your delegates can enjoy the training and not have to worry about note taking throughout.
We can provide Fire Marshal cir-coats at a reduced rate, contact us to give an idea of numbers you will require prior to the course.
